I completed my undergraduate at Imperial in 2004 having done my research project on the 'Development of Novel Fluorescent Antagonists for Investigating Y1 Receptor Subcellular Localisation and Dimerisation' under the supervision of Dr Mimi Hii. I joined the Craig group in October 2005 to start my PhD titled 'Tandem and Asymmetric C-C Bond Forming Transformations using Decarboxylative Claisen Rearrangement Reactions'. I had an incredible year in 2004-2005 travelling around Asia, enjoying the food, scenery and culture. When I can't afford the travelling, I enjoy cycling, running and kayaking, with many a weekend spent testing the temperature of Welsh rivers with the college canoe club. |
